Luna EMG

Innovative Rehabilitation Robot

Luna EMG is a revolutionary rehabilitation robot created by EgzoTech in collaboration with Husarska Design Studio. Designed with patients in need of rehabilitation in mind, Luna EMG utilizes cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions to help users return to full mobility.

The goal of the Luna EMG project was to create a device that would be both functional and visually appealing. This was intended to help patients effectively use the device during rehabilitation and increase their motivation to exercise.

Husarska Design Studio conducted in-depth research and analysis to better understand the needs of users and the technological possibilities that EgzoTech could offer. Using the results of this research, the designers developed concepts and prototypes that were consulted and tested with both the client and patients, allowing for the refinement of the project to its final form.

Key lessons learned from this project include the importance of trusting one’s own design intuition and vision, as well as the realization that sometimes simple solutions are the most effective. The Luna EMG project has contributed significantly to the growth and development of Husarska Design Studio, leading to further collaboration on other projects with EgzoTech.

This project remains one of the favorites, as it demonstrates how a simple yet innovative design can solve complex problems and make a significant difference in the lives of those who use it. The Luna EMG robot shows that movement can be invisible beneath the skin but visible in biofeedback charts, and that the robot can support micro-movements in users who may not have the strength to move their hand, giving them a newfound sense of empowerment.
